In the early years the party may have seen a dozen or so people come by but last year hit a new record with Larson passing out 40 pies before Thanksgiving. Karen LouAnn Larson, 81, of Buchanan passed away on Feb. 5, 2022, at Spectrum Health Lakeland Medical Center, St. Joseph. When the memory care facility was no longer able to take care of all of her needs, she was moved to a hospice care facility on Monday morning January 9th, 2023.Karen was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Kathleen; a brother, Kevin; and one grandson who was waiting for her at Heavens gate when she arrived. She is survived by : her children, Holly Schuttenberg (Gary) of Rosebud, Skip Heintz (Amie) of Gerald and Joe Cuddy (Heidi) of Hillsboro; her brother Joseph Williams (Christy) of Doniphan; and her grandchildren, Cayla, Damon Schuttenberg, Zach, Shane Heintz, Jessica Cuddy, Ryan Cuddy and Daniel Cuddy. .
